That Event

He hit me, He'd finally done it. He's screamed and yelled at me before, but hit, I thought that'd never happen. I called him profanities during a fight, I'd done it before and he just yelled  more, but not this time he slapped me, right accros my face. I thought I'd never speak to him again. I did, why? because I had no choice. What'd I do when this happened? I sat there in the car and cried. I stopped fighting back because I was too afraid of what would happen. This was the moment I knew what true fear was.

Snakes

Today I'll be writing about snakes, particurarly the ball python.

Snakes are some of my favorite animals because they are great and many are quite tame and refrain from striking you.

One of my favorite snakes is the ball python. They originate from west africa however are often bred in captivity all over the world. Their Temprament is great, they keep at a relatively small size and are quite beautiful and are found in many different "paint jobs" or morphs, the only real thing that is a pain about these animals is they are super pickey eaters.

The reason why their temprament is amazing is because they prefer to curl up into a ball instead of striking hence the name ball python. So if you fear snakes their is little to no reason to fear these, especially if they are interacted with often.

Their size is great because the males get about 2-4 ft and females get slightly larger with 4-5 ft you may say well that's about as long as a child is tall well these snakes love to curl upinto a ball and enjoy small spaces infact they get stressed when put into too large of a tank. So the amount of space they take up inst any worry.

Now to my favorite thing their colors. These snakes come in many different patterns, infact their are too may to name however some are my favorites are the pastel, banana and champagne. Those are basic morphs however there are designer morphs which is when you breed two different morphs or a designer snake with another designer. My favorite designer morphs are the super pastel banana which is a super pastel, which is two pastels bred together, bred with a banana. My other favorite desiigner morph is the lavender yellow belly which is the albino lavender bred with a yellow belly. All these will be pictured below

Before I mentioned the about their eating habits, this can be a pain because some refuse to eat frozen thawed and only eat live or will only eat rats not mice. Some just won't eat unless their conditions unless they are feeling perfectly

Bonnie

Opinions

I believe that mental illness and pyschical illness are both valid. People respond differently to someone who's not feeling well enough to do something versus being to depressed to get up and get out of bed. As someone living with mental illnesses I can tell you that I've been very sick before in my life however it has been nothing compared to all the problems I've encountered from the problems inside my head. Mental illnesses take a toll on a human being. Physical illnesses may make you throw up and in immense pain but does it make you feel so bad you truly want to shoot yourself. Probably not. This Is why I believe that people should not react differently when someone cant get out of bed because they truly cannot handle everyday tasks than whne some can't get out of bed because their stomach hurts too much. Do you ever feel like complete and utter trash? Imagine feeling like this every single day, times ten. That's a bit like how depression feels at least for me. You know how sometimes you can't stay focused in class? Well that's a bit how I feel but much much more often. This is another mental illness called Attention Deficit Dissorder.

Just stop guys, it's that easy don't treat someone because they aren't the same religion, race, sexuality or are struggling with things they can't help. Just remember that you have problems too, would you want to be juged for them? I bet not, Alright thanks for reading. I appreciate it.

Interpret and respond to this quote by the narrator: “He found himself understanding the wearisome of life, where every path was an improvisation and a considerable part of one’s waking life was spent looking at one’s feet.”

The beginning of the quote “He found himself understanding the wearisome of life, where every path was an improvisation" Most likely means that Ralph was realizing that his entire life is just improvising. You can plan and plan to your hearts conent, but there is almost no time where everything works out as planned. Therefore you have to improvise on what to do next. This is the awful truth that almost nothing goes as you want it to.

The second part of the quote, "a considerable part of one’s waking life was spent looking at one’s feet.” Is probably refering to having your head hang low because of sadness or failure. Another awful truth, that although there are many great accomplishments in your life there will be just as many sad and painful times, sometimes even more than the good. However, I hope for you that there is much more good then bad in your life. Unless I don't like you then I wish the oppisite, just kidding.

Opinions

After reading Chapter 4, have your views about life, violence, power, and control changed since the beginning of the book?

To be completely honest, they haven't changed at all. My views about life are still it sucks, but sometimes we've got to make the best of it. My views of violence are still the same, that it is a necessary evil. I say violence is a nessacary evil because in some ways it has to happen. For example, if the civil war was never fought who knows, the place we're living right now could still have slavery. If the revolutionary war was never fought, we'd all probably be still under British rule. My views about power have not changed, I still believe that if used wisely can change the world for the better. If abused it can change it for the worse. My views of control still haven't changed, I still think that no one should have absolute control of anything.

I think that my opinions have not changed because, it is very challenging to change my opinion on anything. In that way, I'm pretty stubborn, however I think that's a bit of a good thing, at least in someways.

Letter to Auntie

This prompt is about how it would feel to be Piggy from the book, Lord of the Flies, writing a letter to your Aunt

Dear Auntie,

I know you won't be reciving this but it makes me feel comfortable when I'm writing to you. More civilized. Where I am is insane. There are a bunch of very rude boys who call me "Piggy" which I specifically said not to. They also NEVER listen to me. It makes me so angry and I wish they'd let me talk when I had the conch.

Oh wait you don't know what that means. The conch is like a microphone, who ever has it get's to talk, but not when I have it. They just laugh at me or yell at me and It's super lame. The kids on this island who've I've gotten to know the best are, Jack and Ralph. I don't much care for Jack. He's kind of an arse but, I admire Ralph. He's quite the leader and it seems as if he is doing his best, but it seems like everything would just go a bit smoother if they'd listen to me. Even a little bit would be alright.

Love,
Your nephew

What Would Life be Like Without Grownups

Life without grownups would be great. No one telling us what to do. No don't eat this don't eat that, no you can't wear that, no clean your room or anything. It'd be pretty cool. I could do basically whatever I wanted to. I could get up 4pm for all anyone cared for. But the thing it is, where would they go. When you grew up what would happen? Is it like a children of the corn kind of thing? Or would no one have any idea of what someone who was "Grown up" be? Is it someone who was just old or is it someone who has lost all since of their innerchild?

On the other hand, we need adults to help us become responsible people. Without grownups I'd probably sleep till 4pm everyday and get nothing done, Ever. We'd all do what we wanted too. We'd be running around the streets at midnight drinking or doing drugs because there was no one to tell us otherwise. No one would be there to teach us how to survive on our own, we'd all be running around like maniacs.

Living without grownups would either be so much fun or so much fun but dangerous, very dangerous. In conclusion, grownups are important to our society but sometimes I feel as though they've forgotten what it was like and how it felt to be a kid.

Living with metal dissorders.

Today's prompt is about a book I recently read called, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. The discussion is about the following quote.

"Some people are born with disabilities but it's the communities that handicap them" - Anonymous

I agree with this statement but, it is not just the communties that handicap them. As a person living with a few mental dissorders, I feel very strongly about this.

People are molded by their surroundings and with many people treating mental dissorders like it's contagious it sure doesn't help. People not knowing the facts about mental ilnesses is a problem and it does infact make the handicap even worse.

I think that schools or parents or someone should be telling these people the facts, that it is a handicap, it does make many things harder, but it isnt somekind of virus people living with handicaps are people and should be treated with the same respect you give all of your other peers. If they need a bit of extra help be kind and help, just like you would anyone else. It's important that people are excluded because of whatever handicap they may have.

TLDR, Be kind to people with or without handicaps, and everyone when they need it.
